Billy Kemp

From the Land of Pleasant Living, Baltimore native Billy Kemp is a musician, songwriter, singer, composer, and producer.  He is a multi-instrumentalist but is best known for his tasteful and inventive guitar playing.  Billy will be at the Camdenton Library on an after hours concert on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at 6 p.m.  Light refreshments will be served.

Billy first made points in the Baltimore area by forming the Paradise Pickers in 1977, a hybrid of country and rock which released one record in 1980.

Stop the Famine, Share the Spuds ~ Climax Springs & Sunrise Beach

Join us for our annual food drive during March at the Sunrise Beach and Climax Springs Libraries.  Patrons and guests are invited to bring in non-perishable food items to the Sunrise Beach Library on Monday, March 9-Friday, March 13, 2020 and to the Climax Springs Library on Tuesday, March 16 - Thursday, March 19, 2020.  All donations will be given to food banks within the Sunrise Beach and Climax Springs area.

Coming Soon...A Change in How Holds Work on the OverDrive and Libby Apps

For those who already use OverDrive or Libby apps to access eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eZines there is a change coming in early 2020 that affect how your holds work.  The new feature that Rakuten OverDrive will be rolling out is called hold redelivery and will be replacing the auto-checkout feature.  We hope that you find the following change a positive experience; however, if you find that you having difficulty, please reach out to any one of our friendly staff members for help.

Meet "The Train Guy," Mike Offiner

Mike Offineer, a.k.a., "The Train Guy," will visit both the Camdenton and Osage Beach libraries.  Mike worked for MKT and Union Pacific rail lines for 41 years before his retirement in 2014.  After retiring, Mike wanted a way to share his love and passion for these large machines and to do so he visit libraries, historical socities, and even living rooms.  During his presentation, Mike will speak on the different aspects of railroading, including:
