Let Dr. Carter Emmart, Director of Astrovisualization at the American Museum of Natural History, be your guide on Monday, July 15, 2019, as he takes us on "a guided recreation of Apollo 11's journey to see how this mission was executed by crew members an mission control inH Houston" (American Museum of Natural History, 2019).
Beginning Monday, February 25, 2019, will be using a new system for checking and checking materials. Also, we no will no longer be using CoolCat for our online card catalog, instead we will be apart of the Missouri Evergreen Consortium and our materials will be found using a variation of this web address. We would like to let our patrons know that there will be some differences between the two and how they are used. This is to be used as a guide on how to navigate the new online card catalog. As always if you have any questions, please visit with any one of our friendly staff members for assistance.
At the beginning of 2018, the Camden County Library District applied for a grant to replace a majority of our public computers used by patrons. The Library District was fortunate to be awarded the grant and have used the grant money to replace most of our public access computers which were at least eight years old. The new computers will be more reliable and secure for our patrons to use.
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services 2018-LBE8-TLD18CN8-8952.
