Storytime with CCLD: We Are Diverse

Wednesday, June 10, 2020 - Storytime with CCLD: We Are Diverse

This week we explore how it is okay to be different through rhymes, songs, fingerplays, and a flannel board story. With all of the news in the past weeks highlighting protests and violence against our fellow humankind it is hard to address this subject at a child's level. Our hope is that this storytime will help parents bridge that gap and find ways to interact and teach their children that differences is what makes the world go round. We have heard that we should never judge a book by its cover and we should never judge someone by the color of their skin, disabilities, or gender identity. #equalityforall
