What makes a canine a good citizen and what are the best training methods?
Marteen Nolan is a life-long dog owner and has actively trained and exhibited dogs since 1970. For more than 40 years Marteen has attended countless canine training and behavior workshops and has used a variety of training methods when training her own dogs. She now would like to share the experiences she has gained and share it with the public. By doing so, Marteen hopes that people will understand dog behavior and how to use positive-based training to create their own canine good citizen.
To help demonstrate various training methods, Marteen will be bringing two of her own dogs. To learn more on how you can make your dog a good citizen and learn new training methods be sure to visit Marteen and her dogs at the Osage Beach Library on Saturday, November 9 at 10:30 a.m.
