CAMDENTON, MO - The Camdenton Library, a branch of the Camden County Library District, is hosting Todd Hanks, author of The Counterfeiters of Whispering Dell and The Skeletal People, on Tuesday, May 22 at 11 a.m.  The Camdenton Library is located at 89 Rodeo Rd.

Todd Hanks is a local Missouri author and has worked as a journalist and creative writer for several Missouri newspapers.  He has also had poetry featured in the Kansas City Star and he has had his work published in anthologies, Rhysling and Dwarf Star, compiled by the Science Fiction Poetry Association of America.

His book, The Counterfeiters of Whispering Dell, is a work of fiction based on real events that occurred at Ha Ha Tonka.  


CAMDENTON, MO - Natalie Halpin and Lisa Irle, authors of the book, The Captain and the Judge: Building Camps, Forts, Dams, Bridges, and Character Across the Ozarks, will be in attendance at the Camdenton Library, 89 Rodeo Rd., Camdenton, MO 65020 on Tuesday, June 12 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. for an author meet and greet and book signing.  Halpin and Irle will have copies of their book available for purchase at the Library.  Natalie Halpin, the daughter of Max Prussing and Natalie Wilson-Prussing, with the assistance of Lisa Irle, has compiled the stories of Halpin's parents and their accomplishments around Camden County, Fort Leonard Wood, and Warrensburg.
